This policy explains what personal information Sutika Home collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers this website (sutikahome.com), the Sutika Home app (app.sutikahome.com) and the care we provide in your home.
Who we are
Sutika Home provides doctor-guided, Ayurveda-based postnatal and prenatal care at home. We decide how your information is used. For any question about this policy or your information, write to contact@sutikacare.online.
What we collect
When you ask us to call you back (the form on our website): your name, mobile number, city and area, expected delivery date, the plan you are interested in and anything you write in the message. We also record which page or advertisement brought you to us.
When you sign up for or use the app:
- Your name, mobile number, email address and home address, and a PIN you choose (we store only a scrambled form of it, never the PIN itself).
- Details about your delivery and plan, such as delivery date, normal or caesarean delivery, your visits and the therapies given.
- Anything you choose to record in the app: daily check-ins, mood checks, questions to our team, feedback and documents.
- Information about your baby that you add, such as feeds, sleep, nappies, growth, vaccinations and milestones.
- Payments you make to us and the documents we share with you, such as invoices.
- Technical records needed for security: when you sign in, failed sign-in attempts and the internet (IP) address used.
When you browse our website: basic information about your device and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar tools (see “Cookies” below).
Some of this, such as your recovery, mood and your baby’s health, is health information. We treat it with extra care and only ask for what helps us look after you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and tell you about our care plans.
- To plan, provide and keep records of your care, including scheduling visits and reminding you about them.
- To spot warning signs you report in the app (for example, low mood or a symptom that needs a doctor) so our team can contact you.
- To take and record payments and keep the accounts the law requires.
- To improve our website, app and care, and to understand which of our advertising works.
- To keep our systems secure and prevent misuse.
We use your information because you give it to us and agree to it for these purposes, or because we need it to provide the care you asked for or to meet a legal duty. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to look after you can see it: our care coordinators, therapists and the doctor guiding your plan. We also use a small number of service providers who handle information for us:
- Our website and app hosting and email provider.
- Google, for website statistics (Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit).
- Instagram (Meta), which provides the photos in the Instagram section of our homepage.
- WhatsApp, when you choose to message us there or we send you a reminder.
These providers may store information on servers outside your country. We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect someone’s life or health in an emergency.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The app uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. Our website uses analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful, and the Instagram section loads images from Instagram. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the app will then ask you to sign in again.
How long we keep it
We keep your care records while you are with us and afterwards for as long as we need them to answer questions about your care, and to meet tax, accounting and other legal requirements. We remove enquiries that did not lead to care once they are no longer needed. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Keeping it safe
Access to your information is protected by passwords and limited to the staff who need it. Sign-ins are protected against repeated wrong guesses, and important changes are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your PIN private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Your choices and rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it, where we do not need to keep it by law.
- Stop using it for a purpose you agreed to. You can withdraw your agreement at any time, though we may then be unable to continue some parts of your care.
- Stop sending you messages about our plans and offers.
To do any of these, write to contact@sutikacare.online from the email or mobile number you used with us. We will reply as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).
Information about babies and children
Information about a baby is added by a parent, as part of the parent’s own care plan. Our services are meant for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from children using the website or app themselves.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app.
